how to get there
from nyc
by car (1h 45min)
this is the most direct route and recommended if you want to explore the surrounding litchfield hills.
take the I-87 N to the saw mill river parkway and then merge onto I-684 N. continue onto CT-22 N and eventually CT-7 N toward new preston.
train (2h 30min)
take the harlem line from grand central terminal to either wingdale, NY or dover plains, NY. from the station, it is a roughly 25-minute drive to spring hill vineyards. note: pre-booking a local taxi is highly recommended as Ubers can be sparse in rural CT.
